Keesa meets her playmates

After her two week quarantine Keesa was ready to meet her new friends. At first being very content in her own room...she was now ready to explore

Meeting Malibu and Caprice: Malibu is a 3 year old Snowshoe who is as vain as they come and loves to lounge around. Caprice is our 2 year old domestic tuxedo kitty who loves to snuggle and despite her size, likes to think she runs the House

Since Malibu is the more sensible one, we introduced him first. Keesa was ready to play as usual and after a smooth play time we let them both rest a bit.

Next up was Caprice..who was just a little more hesitant. It is quite obvious Keesa will be the reigning ALPHA in this house and Caprice didn't like the looks of that. A little sniffing here and there. Keesa knew to be gentle with her and after a few short minutes they were done.

Later that evening we introduced our little monster to the rest of her house. She was very good and after a few minutes of inspecting some new territory she lied on the couch to catch some sleep (which is rare for this hyper active Savannah). What happened next was the best part of the night! Caprice who was not so interested in her new friend jumped up on the couch and......well I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Caprice seemed more than happy to get a nice bath from her new BFF. Having never done a quarantine for new animals I was unsure of what difference it would make...but after this night I realized just how right Adrianne and Jason are (p.s. they are pretty much right about everything when it comes to Savannahs). It has been almost a week since they met and Keesa is still her Tasmanian self, playing with everything she see's and getting into anything she can get her paws on....only now she is teaching the other cats some new tricks!!

I'm glad to hear that she is getting along so well with the other kitty's in your family. I bring my baby Calla home next week and this makes me feel better hearing your story, thanks. Look forward to hearing and seeing Keesa as she grows up, she has really grown and is beautiful!
